BROCK-Burrum defender Dylan Boers is almost guaranteed to be playing on a gun Henty forward on Saturday.
With Jarrah Maksymow, Damian Cupido and Shannon Terlich already playing inside 50-metres and former AFL star Jared Brennan being thrown into the mix this week, Boers will undoubtedly have his hands full.
The 24-year-old plans to keep it simple if Saint coach Kade Stevens throws him the challenge of playing on Brennan.
“I’ll just give it 110 per cent,” Boers said.
“It would be tough but one of us will have to do it.
“It’s a challenge.
“He’s a goalkicker so I presume he will play forward.
“It’s a good forward line isn’t it?”
But while Boers is full of praise for the Henty line-up, the former Albury under-18 and reserve grade player said Brock-Burrum needed to focus on themselves.
They suffered a surprise loss to Holbrook last weekend and are yet to hit top form by the halfway stage of the season.
The absence of Nico Sedgwick, Luke Schilg, Nick Brockley and Jarod Koschizke didn’t help their cause against the Brookers.
“We aren’t going as well as we could be,” Boers said.
“We need to focus on our structures.
“I don’t think we have put a good, four quarters together yet.
“We will have to be at our absolute best against Henty.”
Boers and his brother, Shannon, joined Brock-Burrum in 2013 as 18-year-olds while their triplet sister, Ellen, is a regular spectator at matches.
Ellen plays for Lavington Panthers in the AFLNEB Female League on Sundays.
Dylan played in Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock’s 2014 flag while Shannon was a member of the winning 2015 side.
The brothers say the switch to the Hume league, which came about through a link with the Boulton family, has been a winner.

Henty only led Murray Magpies by 10 points late in the final quarter last weekend before powering clear and coach Joel Price believes the Swampies will need to improve on that performance to defeat the Saints.
Star midfielder Daniel Cox will miss at least another week.
The ruck clash between in-form big-men Chris Willis and Matt Seiter will have a major bearing on the outcome.
OSBORNE midfielder Clancy Galvin’s horror run with injuries has continued with the youngster breaking his leg in two places.
It was only his second match of the season after he suffered a broken jaw in a collision with teammate Marty Bahr during the cricket finals.
Galvin was set to celebrate his 18th birthday at the weekend.
Osborne face a tough task rebounding against Holbrook at Holbrook on Saturday particularly with Azzi medallist Jamie Parr in doubt.
Howlong will be out to snap a six-match losing streak when it takes on Murray Magpies.
The Spiders have been winless since April 21 with Steve Jolliffe desperately needing more support to stop the slide.
Billabong Crows will fancy their chances of upsetting Culcairn.
