BROCK-Burrum speedster Nico Sedgwick has been rubbed out for three matches for headbutting.
Brock-Burrum star Nico Sedgwick will miss three vital matches for the Saints after being found guilty of headbutting Jindera’s Tom Weldon.
The 2014 Azzi medallist will miss matches against Culcairn, Rand-Walbundrie-Walla and Murray Magpies.
The incident occurred during the opening quarter of Saturday’s clash at Jindera with Weldon forced from the field for the rest of the match after failing a concussion test.
The good news for the Saints is bullocking ruckman Matt Seiter will return from a two-match suspension against Culcairn.
Brock-Burrum moved into second spot on percentage following their narrow win over Jindera and look set to fight it out with the Bulldogs for the double chance with six rounds remaining.
Meanwhile, in-form Rand-Walbundrie-Walla defender Tom Simmons will face a striking charge next Tuesday night.
